So...I had an incredibly awkward morning. I had a nine o'clock doctor's appointment this morning, involving a breast exam and a Pap test among other things. My mother had scheduled it for me and neglected to tell me until we got there that my new doctor is my friend, Souha. Yes, you read that right. MY FRIEND.
Now, I love Souha to death. We're good friends and I enjoy watching her kids for her. But there are some things that friends just shouldn't do. Like look at your vagina. Or stick their fingers inside you and poke at your ovaries. Well...most of the time anyway. That is just one bonding experience that should never, ever happen. Ever.
I also got a flu shot. That was much less awkward. You have to understand my immense level of awkward and twitchy around needles to get why that being the least awkward part was weird.
Then I got a chicken biscuit and fries from Bojangles. They were tasty, but in no way made up for my morning.
So that's my morning in a nutshell. An awkward, awkward nutshell. I am never speaking to my mother ever again. Ever.
Fringe tonight! Yay! Why yes, that is divergent from the theme of the post, but it needed to be said. I like Fringe. Yay, Fringe!
